Students working in the co-op program

Co-op and Practicum courses provide students with the opportunity to:

  • Gain practical experience while earning course credits
  • Apply knowledge learned in the classroom

  • Begin building a resume.

In the past, students in Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies have worked as:

  • Probation/Parole officer with the Kentucky Division of Probation and Parole
  • Probation Officer with Federal Probation
  • Court Designated Worker with the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts
  • Caseworker or Correctional Officer in Federal Correctional Institutions
