Faculty members in the Department of Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies come from various disciplinary backgrounds and have considerable experience at teaching, conducting research, providing service for the profession, and working in the field as practitioners. They have strong working relations with local, state, federal, and private agencies. The department also has an outstanding staff of adjunct faculty who work in a variety of professional agencies.
