Faculty Profiles

Faculty members in the Department of Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies come from various disciplinary backgrounds and have considerable experience as practitioners in the fields of corrections and juvenile justice.

Various practitioner positions held by current full- and part-time faculty members include:

  • adult and juvenile correctional officers
  • correctional psychologist
  • juvenile intake worker
  • adult correctional administrator
  • adult correctional case worker
  • juvenile justice administrator
  • juvenile delinquency prevention worker
  • child care advocate

Faculty members also have extensive experience in teaching (including online instruction), service to the profession and conducting research.  They have strong working relations with local, state, federal and private agencies and their research is widely known and respected.
