Graduate Externship
Student Responsibilities
Students accepted into the Project will be expected to:
- Enroll in CJR 843 Advanced Criminal Law simultaneously with CRJ 844 Innocence Project Externship for a total of six (6) graduate credits.
- Attend the orientation session and other classes.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Make a two semester commitment.
- Devote at least 240 hours to their case, in addition to class and other meetings.
- Maintain comprehensive records and time logs.
- Complete all assignments on a timely basis.
- Execute a confidentiality agreement and respect client disclosures.
- Demonstrate substantial initiative.
- Be able to travel within Kentucky and neighboring states to conduct
interviews, collective evidence, etc. Travel expenses will be
reimbursed.
