Assets Protection

Assets Protection graduates have been employed by many different companies and government agencies, including leading retailers and manufacturers, financial institutions, hotels and resorts, hospitals, insurance corporations, and agencies at the federal, state and local levels.

  • Loss control or safety manager

Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies

Graduates from the department of Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies pursue careers at all levels of government and in the private sector. They work in settings such as, courts, adult correctional institutions, juvenile facilities, community centers, and probation and parole offices.

Sample of careers available with this degree:

  • Warden or correctional administrator with the Federal Bureau of Prisons
  • Probation or parole officer for adults and juveniles
  • Caseworker or counselor
  • Substance abuse specialist
  • Correctional trainer or researcher
  • Detention and security officer with U.S. Marshals or Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Criminal Justice

Criminal Justice majors may find employment in all facets of the criminal justice system including public and private policing, community and institutional corrections, the court subsystem, criminal justice research and planning, crime prevention, and victim-based programs.

  • Officers with federal agencies like: U.S. Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, F.B.I., U.S. Border Patrol, Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Marshals

Fire and Safety Engineering Technology
