Alan Forbes, an Assets Protection & Safety 2009 graduate and current student in the Safety, Security & Emergency Management master's program, and Billy Bowman, a senior Assets Protection & Safety major, were each awarded a $250 scholarship from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Other Assets Protection & Safety students attended the annual ASIS International conference in Anaheim, Ca.

ASIS International is the largest association of security professionals in the world with more 36,000 members.

While at the four day conference, students attended educational seminars, toured the exhibit hall and listened to presentations by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Ben Stein.
