Safety, Security & Emergency Management Master’s Degree
Fire & Emergency Services Concentration or Certificate
EKU’s College of Justice & Safety has developed a fire and emergency services curriculum within the Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management degree program.
This curriculum can be completed as either a concentration within the 36-hour master’s degree program or as a 12-hour certificate program which can be completed independently of the degree program.
The Fire & Emergency Services concentration is designed to provide fire and emergency services professionals with the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of fire safety/protection and enhance their overall skills in this field.
The Fire & Emergency Services Certificate Curriculum Includes the Following Courses:
- Strategic Planning for Fire and Emergency Services
- Leadership in Fire and Emergency Services
- Public Sector Finance and Budgeting
- Public Emergency Services
